It’s been a long time since I’ve been on my Tumblr.
Hi. I’m back.

corretto asked: Hello! I am headed to a new doctor soon because my current Rheumatologist thinks Adult Still's Disease is my new diagnosis. Any tips for me? Anything I need to talk to my doctor about or prepare with? Hope you are well. Please respond in private! Thanks.
Hey! So here’s your next decision. The common treatment for Still’s Disease and any serious form of rheumatoid arthritis is steroids, harsh medications & treatments that can have serious side effects to your body. I did injections (Enbrel, Kineret), I did various medications (Prednisone) and my best luck I’ve had so far is giving that all up and finding homeopathic treatments. I know - it sounds crazy but really research what you are putting in your body, what the treatments are and trust your instincts. Follow your heart, not your doctors order. You know your body better than anyone and if something doesn’t feel/sound right - you are more than likely correct.
And if you don’t 100% believe your diagnosis is Still’s Disease - keep fighting till you find a diagnosis you believe in. I went years being misdiagnosed with lupus, MS, RND, fibromyalgia, etc. And now I fully 100% can say I believe in the diagnosis of Still’s Disease.
Best of luck in your journey to a pain free life!

I haven’t posted in a super long time! Yikes.
Flare up today which means I am cuddled up on the couch and thankfully the first 8 seasons of One Tree Hill are on Netflix. Winning.
